Did Daniel Craig buy this Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster?

Did Daniel Craig buy a V12 Vantage Roadster? I am not sure, but he did take delivery of one. Yesterday, Driving.co.uk published this photo and reports that Daniel Craig “was handed the keys to the bright red V12 Vantage convertible”. Now which one of the 101 V12 Roadsters is this? Judging from the picture, the “bright red” could either be Flame Orange or Red Lion. Looking at my V12 Vantage Roadster Register, there’s only two V12VR’s in Flame Orange (one the AML demo, the other recently for sale, and two UK cars in Red Lion (the first also a demo, the other unknown). So has Daniel Craig been lent one of the demos or did he really buy one?

Bilstein livery for the V12 Vantage GT3

Aston Martin has been fitting Bilstein dampers as standard on all Aston Martin road cars for quite a while. But now Bilstein has also become a primary technical partner for Aston Martin Racing’s competition programme at the Nürburgring. And this partnership has resulted in cool new livery for the V12 Vantage GT3:

Geneva 2013 – DB9 and DB9 Volante

I have never been much of a DB9 fan, but I must admit that I really like the looks of the new 2013 DB9. Subtle changes, but they fully bring this car up-to-date again. I haven’t driven it yet, the specs are promising though. In terms of power, the new DB9 is now at the same level of the retired DBS: 517 hp and a max torque of 620 Nm. In Geneva, Aston Martin displays both a DB9 (in the beautiful color Ming Blue) and a DB9 Volante (in the kind of boring color Amethyst Red).

Coming soon: Aston Martin CC100

The centenary celebrations continue. In May, at the Nürburgring 24-hour race, Aston Martin will reveal a new V12 Vantage based car: the CC100. Almost no information is available at the moment, but this is what we do know about the CC100: Based on the V12 Vantage. Styling influenced by the DBR1 racer. Two seats. Open top. That is, no top at all. No doors. Only two will be built. Pricing between V12 Zagato and One-77. Very interesting. Looks I will have to go to the Nürburgring 24-hour race in May 🙂 Source: Autocar.co.uk.
