Visiting the Towbin Aston Martin dealer in Las Vegas

I am currently in Las Vegas for business, so yesterday I figured: While I am here, why not visit the local Aston Martin dealer, Towbin Motorcars. Towbin is a combined Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls Royce dealership, with an impressive stock of new and used cars. The guys and gals at Towbin were friendly and I enjoyed talking with them about Aston Martin and of course, taking lots of pictures of the nice Astons they had in stock, including a very special Vanquish Volante. Going to the 2014 Spring Event with two Astons

Lots of car events last weekend. First the Shmeeting in Amsterdam, then later that Friday the introduction of the new Porsche Macan at the Porsche dealership (won’t bother you with that one 🙂 ) and then on Saturday the 2014 edition of the Spring Event.

Meeting Shmee150 in Amsterdam

I am sure you are familiar with the well-known Shmee150 YouTube channel / Facebook page and website. Last week, Tim Burton, aka Shmee150 himself, started on a 25-day “Where’s Shmee 2014” tour, taking him through 10 countries and to lots of super car related events and companies. On Friday, Tim did his first “Shmeeting” with his fans, right here in Amsterdam. And we were invited to join the Shmeeting with “something special”. Well, what’s more special than my V12 Roadster in its’ Union Jack livery?

Sadly I wasn’t able to visit the Techno Classica show in Essen last week, but judging from the pictures, it looks like it was a huge show with lots of nice cars, including many Aston Martins. Luckily, I received these photos from Mitchell van Alphen, showing the modern Astons at the show.

Power Beauty Soulmates Sunday Drive – The Boulevard Tour

The new Power Beauty Soulmates season 2014 has started, with the first Sunday Drive of 2014. And for the first time ever, this Sunday Drive was not members-only; this one was open for any Aston Martin owner. On this beautiful sunny day, twenty-three Astons showed for and a nice drive along the Dutch coast. ( a special thanks to Cindy and Jackie of SuperCarClub.nl, for letting us use their road book )

Over 200 supercars at the premiere of the Need for Speed movie

The Need for Speed movie is here! This Saturday, the movie was premiered in Ede, the Netherlands. And to make the premiere extra spectacular, over 200 supercars were invited, including our Cobalt Blue V12 Roadster and our yellow italian monster.

The Astons at the AutoSalon in Brussels

Yep, two car shows in one week! Saturday’s Interclassics event was all about classic Astons, but yesterday it was time to spot some new models at the AutoSalon in Brussels. I spent most of my time in Hall 12, the super car hall, where Aston Martin had a stand showing a Rapide S, a Vanquish and a V12 Vantage S. But two other Astons could be found in other halls, a V12 Vantage GT3 hidden away in the bike halls and a classic DB6 Vantage at the Vredestein stand.
